上班請假英文是很值得學習的職場語言知識，本文先介紹一般口語表達說法，說明各種假別的英語用詞，國定假日等特殊單字，最後是1封正式書信範例。
一、上班請假英文
I need a day off tomorrow for some family issues.
我明天需要請一天假，家裡有點事。
Would it be possible if I take next Tuesday off?
請問下星期二可以請個假嗎？
I am afraid I’m going to ask for one weeks off next month for a family vacation.
抱歉下個月想請一星期假，全家人規劃一起去度假。
二、各種假別英文
在此附上依照勞基法的各種假別英文，大概也涵蓋了一般公司職場會用到的請假專門用語。

三、補休假無薪假
補充台灣新聞時事常見的特殊休假英文說法，例如補休假是Compensatory leave，有薪假是paid leave，無薪假就是unpaid leave，國定假日期則是national holiday，相應的彈性放假是bridge holiday，至於比較討厭的補班日就是make-up day。
四、三節與國定假日
公司福利中通常都會有三節奬金，指的是春節、端午節、中秋節，像這樣的傳統節慶習慣用Festival，如果是正式隆重的國定假日就會用Day，除此之外，也會用生動用語描述假期的內容，例如Dragon Boat。
